Cool Facts you Probably Didn't Know

If you read the title you probably already know that these are facts you probably didn't know. Now without a further ado lets get learning. Fact #1- French fries are not french, but Belgium. During WW1 the Americans were stationed in Belgium. There they had fried potatoes, now called fries. The Americans really liked them and sense the Belgium Army spoke French they started calling them French fries. From then on we gave the credit to the wrong country, so next time you pick up a " French" fry call it a Belgium Fry for a change. Fact #2- The first person to make an American flag was... Betsy Ross. Fact #3- Who made the first computer... Charles Baggage. Fact #4- Who made the first snowman... Bob Eckstein author of The History of the Snowman. He found out that snowmen went back all the way to medieval times. Fact #5- W here did pot pie come from... it originated from Greece. Fact #6- B...

Kawishiwi Falls

This weekend my family and I went on a trail trip. We walked the Kawishiwi falls trail as you probably thought by reading the title of the post. Enjoy these beautiful pictures of nature. So pretty!!!!! Keep Watching My sister was daring so she could see that wonderful view I found another heart rock or if your a Disney fan a Micky Mouse Easter egg. Better watch my feet. Looks like an octopus. These trees are intertwined forever. Wonderful home for a critter. The roots are taking over!!!! Thanks for reading and the answer to the question I asked in the last post is that the pod on the leaf is a growing pod that starts a whole new leaf thanks for guessing the answer. Leaftastic!

Each and every leaf seems to have a different color. Each and everyone tells a story. You can tell if they had a butterfly hatch on them, had just fallen from a high tree limb or are still hanging on for dear life. Here's some more of my favorites. Top side Underneath Isn't it amazing how one leaf can have so many different designs. It looks completely different on the top side than it does on the bottom. It looks like a different leaf altogether. Looks like an animal has found a home? Still Green Fire in my hand It reminds me of a peach. This one reminds me of a honey bee. Teeny Tiny Leaf. Foot in focus. Puppy face, smiling mouth leaf. Hanging on against the wind. I'm going out to look for more. Let me know what you think. Can you identify trees by their leaves? I'm learning how. E.
